Surf rising along south shores
Advertiser Staff
By this afternoon surf along south shores should slowly have rised to 4 to 7 feet, thanks to a new southerly swell that will reach advisory levels by tonight and peak Tuesday and Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
Surf along northern shores is dropping to 3 to 5 feet today, and west shores will also see surf 3 to 5 feet. East shores will see surf 2 to 4 feet.
A new small north swell is expected to arrive by Tuesday night, peak on Wednesday, then slowly lower into Thursday. East facing shores will see short period trade wind produced surf through the week.
