Andrea Ortega singled home pinch-runner Mallory Perkins with one out in the bottom of the eighth as No. 10 Fresno State defeated No. 24 Hawai'i, 2-1, to complete a sweep of a Western Athletic Conference softball doubleheader at Fresno, Calif.
Jenna Cervantez's homer leading off the bottom of the eighth lifted the Bulldogs (45-8, 11-3) to a 3-2 victory over the Rainbow Wahine (33-17, 7-7) in the first game.
