Police are seeking to arrest a 28-year-old man who was declared an escapee by state Public Safety officials after he failed to return yesterday to the Laumaka work furlough program.

Derrick Anthony Perreira had been scheduled to return to Laumaka at 5 p.m.

Anyone with information as to Perreira's whereabouts can call 911. Perreira's criminal record includes 13 convictions.
