Fire causes $480,000 damage to Salt Lake home

A fire today caused an estimated $480,000 in damage to a single-family home at 1218 Ala Pili Loop in Salt Lake.
No injuries were reported in the 3:36 p.m. fire, which was reported under control at 3:45 p.m., said Honolulu Fire Department spokesman Capt. Terry Seelig.
The front end of the four-bedroom home sustained most of the fire damage, said Seelig.
Cause of the fire is under investigation.
