No. 3 USC pounds No. 4 Hawaii in water polo, 13-8

Michelle Stein scored four goals and Sarah Van Norman added three to lead No. 3 USC to a 13-8 victory over No. 4 Hawai'i in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's water polo match today at Los Angeles.
The Trojans are 16-6 overall and 9-2 in the MPSF. The Rainbow Wahine, who lost their second in a row, are 15-8 and 7-5.
USC shut out UH 3-0 in the first period and never trailed. The Trojans led 6-2 at halftime and 11-4 after three periods.
Lisa van Raalte scored three goals to lead the Rainbow Wahine.
