Firefighters bring out injured Manoa hiker

The Honolulu Fire Department today brought out an injured male hiker from the Manoa Falls trail at 4:05 p.m.
HFD spokesman Capt. Frank Johnson said the hiker, who is in his late 40s, hurt his right arm when he slipped an fell about 25 feet off the trail. Firefighters were dispatched at about 2:30 p.m.
Rescue specialists reached the man and prepped him to be transported to Manoa District Park by helicopter.
