Kiwanis will spruce up Easter Seals' 'Ewa site
Local Kiwanians and students from the University of Hawai'i's Circle K and Key clubs will help fix up Easter Seals Hawaii's Ewa Adult Day Program facilities on Saturday.
The facilities sit on two historic plantation home sites in 'Ewa Villages. The volunteers will spruce up the homes and grounds, including clearing brush, trimming trees, washing windows, constructing and painting planter boxes, and sanding and paining an outdoor pavilion.
Work is also being done on Easter Seals' Green Street location while Kiwanians in Hilo will be doing their own activity.
The effort is part of a Kiwanis International One Day worldwide day of community service.
