WINCUBIC, a Honolulu-based multimedia corporation that spearheaded the Japanese travel marketing Web site aloha-street.com and its free companion Japanese language publication, Aloha Street, has announced a restructuring and expansion of its customer relations team. Firm President Hajime "jim" ueno and Vice President YOSHI FURUSAWA have been added to the team, along with three newly-hired account executives: KIKUKO SHIMIZU, KAYO MAMACLAY and MEGUMI TAKETA. Shimizu is a 10-year veteran of advertising and public relations experience with American computer companies in Japan; Mamaclay is a former English teacher in Japan and school events coordinator, and Taketa, certified in English, is a former employee of Watabe Wedding Corp. The quarterly Aloha Street publication, with a 500,000 annual circulation, is distributed in more than 100 O'ahu locations, including street racks, hotels, shopping centers and tourist trolleys. The related Hawai'i destination Web site garners more than 4.1 million page views per month.

Island Insurance Co. Ltd., Hawai'i's largest locally owned and managed property and casualty insurance carrier, has named Joyce M.T. Fujimori, Tricia M. Miyashiro and James L. Newberry as assistant vice presidents in its underwriting services division:
Fujimori, named assistant vice president and large accounts manager, is a 17-year veteran who previously worked at Marsh USA, Pacific Insurance Co. and Industrial Indemnity.
Miyashiro, named assistant vice president and surety manager, is a former assistant bond underwriter at Jack Wolfe Insurance Inc. She is the president of the Hawai'i Surety Association.
Newberry, named assistant vice president and risk control manager, has more than 29 years of experience, and is a former employee of Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., Home Insurance Co. and Zurich Insurance Co.
