The East Hawai'i Community Advisory Council meets Thursday in Hilo to discuss the state budget.
The meeting at the Aupuni Center Conference Room in Hilo at 5:30 p.m. is open to the public.
The advisory council has invited several agencies, the Hilo Medical Center, the University of Hawai'i-Hilo and county representatives to discuss their priorities for the upcoming supplemental budget.
The advisory council is also encouraging other community groups, nonprofit organizations and citizens to attend and provide their input for the council's budget priority list to submit to Gov. Linda Lingle later this year.
