Windward Community College's award-winning student newspaper, Ka 'Ohana, is online starting today.

The Web site — www.kaohanaonline.org — will feature stories, photo galleries, interactive polls and video and audio clips.

The site was designed by former WCC student Brett Hinkle.

"It's a whole new digital age," said WCC adviser and journalism professor Libby Young.

In July, Ka 'Ohana received its 12th first-place national award from the American Scholastic Press Association with "special merit," a designation that means the newspaper excelled in several categories.
