WAIALUA
Meet a guide dog at library

Advertiser Staff

The Eye of the Pacific Guide Dogs & Mobility Services Inc. will present "Meet and Greet a Guide Dog," at 10 a.m. Saturday at Waialua Public Library.

A staff member will introduce children to a guide dog, discuss its abilities and demonstrate how this specially trained animal knows where to go and when to cross the street.

In another library program, Waialua High School cheerleaders will read to children at 10 a.m. Sept. 29. Children will also learn a cheer and take part in a crafts activity. The one-hour program is free and for all ages.

Call the library at 637-8286 if a sign-language interpreter or other special accommodation is needed.
