Surfing flicks screen tomorrow at UH-Manoa

The subject is surfing at the next Hawaii Filmmakers' Showcase at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa's Spalding Auditorium. The films, screening at 5 p.m. tomorrow:
"Heart of a Soul Surfer" (2006; 32 minutes) focuses on Kaua'i's Bethany Hamilton, whose surfing career was temporarily interrupted after she lost an arm to a shark in 2003. Filmmaker Becky Baumgartner will introduce the film.
"Of Wind and Waves: The Life of Woody Brown" (2005; 56 minutes) is a portrait of the big-wave legend.
