The West Oahu Economic Development Association and Enterprise Honolulu are co-sponsoring the fourth annual conference to discuss economic development in West O'ahu.

The conference is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m Nov. 8 at the Honolulu Country Club.

West O'ahu, once the center of O'ahu's sugar industry, has undergone a major transformation in recent decades with the growth of housing developments and businesses, as well as schools and social services.

Gov. Linda Lingle will deliver the keynote address.
