TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

World Series, 2 p.m., Fox. For the first time ever, the World Series reaches Denver. There, fans have had time to work themselves into a frenzy. The Colorado Rockies clinched a Series spot early, waited eight days, played two games in Boston, then waited another day. Finally, the Rockies are hosting. They're the new guys, relatively speaking, against the venerable Red Sox. It could be fun.

"Scary Movie" (2000), NBC, "Scary Movie 3" (2003), Comedy Central, both 7 p.m. As long as there are so many horror films this time of year, we might as well see some films that try to make fun of them. NBC has the original with Keenen Ivory Wayans directing two of his brothers, Marlon and Shawn. Comedy Central has the third part in this series directed by David Zucker, part of the "Airplane" team.

OF NOTE

College football, 2 p.m., ABC. Top-rated Ohio State faces Penn State.

"Addams Family Values" (1993), 4 p.m., Bravo. The rush of Halloween-type movies includes this comedy. Barry Sonnenfeld, who also made "Men in Black" and the "Pushing Daisies" pilot, directed.

"100 Scariest Movie Moments," 6 p.m., Comedy Central. Well, why not spend a pre-Halloween Saturday being reminded of all the previous scares? Here's the five-part, 2004 series, in one chunk.

"CSI: NY," 8 p.m., CBS. A young woman who died on a subway train may have been the victim of a biological attack.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 9 p.m., NBC. A teacher, volunteering at a victims' center, has been killed. She may have learned too much from an Iraqi who had military secrets.

"Saturday Night Live," 10:30 p.m., NBC. A rerun of the season's second episode: Seth Rogen hosts, with Spoon as the musical guest.
