Micah Mamiya posted 317 yards of total offense, rushed for four touchdowns and passed for another to lead top-ranked Saint Louis over Damien, 54-27, yesterday in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu interdivisonal football game at Aloha Stadium.

Mamiya completed 11 of 23 passes for 185 yards, including a 35-yard TD pass to Tamatoa DeMello. Mamiya also rushed for TDs of 6, 22, 12 and 6 yards for the Crusaders (8-0 overall, 5-0 ILH).

Lucas Gonsalves also had an 8-yard TD run for Saint Louis and Austin Wakinekona opened the second half with an 80-yard kickoff return for a TD in a game that reached the 35-point differential mercy rule twice. The first was after Wakinekona's TD that made it 47-12 and the second after Mamiya's fourth TD run that made it 54-19.

The Monarchs (2-5-1, 1-4) scored with 2:31 left in the game on a 2-yard TD run by quarterback Anthony Tuitele. It was his second TD run of the game. He gave the Monarchs a short-lived 6-0 lead when he scored an 11-yard run on Damien's first series of the game.

Saint Louis responded with 34 consecutive points and eventually took a 41-12 lead at the half.

Tuitele was 11 of 28 for 244 yards and one TD — a 23-yarder to Makana Kaanoi.

Running back Kama Bailey was contained to 31 yards rushing on 10 carries. But he did recover an offensive fumble for a 53-yard TD. It came after Tuitele completed a 27-yard pass to Chris Cross, who fumbled, but the alert Bailey picked up the ball and ran it the rest of the way.

J.J. Kaina had two kickoff returns totaling 82 yards for the Monarchs. His 42-yard return of the opening kickoff helped set up Damien's first TD of the game.
