HAWAI'I TIES
Ikaika Alama-Francis, Detroit Lions defensive end. The Kalaheo and University of Hawai'i alum had one tackle in Detroit's 37-27 win over Chicago.
Jason Elam, Denver Broncos kicker. The former UH star kicked 35- and 22-yard field goals and converted two PATs in Denver's 38-20 loss to Indianapolis.
Aaron Francisco, Arizona Cardinals safety. The Kahuku High alum had one tackle in Arizona's 21-14 win over Pittsburgh.
Ma'ake Kemoeatu, Carolina Panthers defensive tackle. The Kahuku High alum was involved in five tackles in Carolina's 20-7 loss to Tampa Bay.
Reagan Mauia, Miami Dolphins fullback. The former UH standout had two carries for 5 yards and one reception for 5 yards in Miami's 35-17 loss to Oakland.
Mat McBriar, Dallas Cowboys punter. The former UH standout punted five times for a 29.6 average, with a long of 58 in Dallas' 35-7 win over St. Louis.
Kawika Mitchell, New York Giants linebacker. The former Honolulu resident returned a fumble 17 yards for a touchdown and had two tackles in New York's 16-3 win over Philadelphia.
Isa'ako Sopoaga, San Francisco 49ers nose tackle. The former UH star had one tackle in San Francisco's 23-3 loss to Seattle.
Pisa Tinoisamoa, St. Louis Rams linebacker. The former UH star was involved in five tackles in St. Louis' 35-7 loss to Dallas.
TODAY'S GAME
New England (3-0) at Cincinnati (1-2). The Patriots have looked invincible thus far and now face one of the NFL's most porous defenses. TV: ESPN (Ch. 22/222) at 2:30 and 7 p.m.
INJURIES
Alex Smith left the 49ers' 23-3 loss to the Seahawks in the first quarter with an injured right shoulder.
Carnell Williams was carted off the field with a right knee injury in the first quarter of Tampa Bay's 20-7 win over Carolina. The Bucs also lost left tackle Luke Petitgout to a right knee injury.
The Colts' Joseph Addai left in the third quarter of a 38-20 win over Denver with a shoulder injury. Safety Bob Sanders missed most of the second half with a rib injury, and receiver Marvin Harrison and linebacker Rob Morris each sustained knee injuries.
LaMont Jordan left shortly before halftime of the Raiders' 35-17 win at Miami with a back injury.
The Steelers lost Troy Polamalu (abdomen) and Casey Hampton (hamstring) in a 21-14 loss to Arizona.
STARS PASSING
Brett Favre, Packers, threw for 344 yards and two touchdowns, the first a 16-yarder to Greg Jennings that moved him past Dan Marino for first on the career list. Green Bay beat Minnesota, 23-16.
Daunte Culpepper, Raiders, threw for two touchdowns and ran for three in a 35-17 victory over the Dolphins.
Tony Romo, Cowboys, was 21 of 33 for 339 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-7 victory over winless St. Louis. Romo also ran for a score.
RUSHING
Justin Fargas, Raiders, ran for a career-high 179 yards on 22 carries in place of injured La-Mont Jordan during a 35-7 victory over Miami.
Larry Johnson, Chiefs, carried 25 times for 123 yards in a 30-16 victory over San Diego. He'd gained only 140 yards on 50 carries, a 2.8-yard average, through the first three weeks.
Edgerrin James, Cardinals, ran for 77 yards and a touchdown as Arizona hung on for a 21-14 victory over previously unbeaten Pittsburgh.
RECEIVING
Patrick Crayton, Cowboys, caught seven passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-7 win over the Rams. Crayton had caught six passes for 78 yards through the first three weeks.
Dwayne Bowe, Chiefs, caught eight passes for 164 yards and a touchdown in a 30-16 victory over San Diego.
Deion Branch, Seahawks, caught seven passes for 130 yards in a 23-3 win over the 49ers.
