TICKETS ON SALE SATURDAY FOR FEB. 16 CONCERT BY THE POLICE

Out of retirement and back big-time on concert stages, The Police are heading for Honolulu for a Feb. 16 concert at the Blaisdell Arena. Fiction Plane is the opening act.

Tickets — $75, $95 and $225 plus fees — go on sale at 9 a.m. Saturday at Live

Nation.com, Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.com.

The Police — Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers — are the hottest ticket of 2007, according to Billboard. The trio has been performing worldwide as part of its reunion tour; the Honolulu stop is the finale.

The rock group reached its peak with the 1983 album "Synchronicity," with hit tunes "Every Breath You Take," "Wrapped Around Your Finger" and "King of Pain." The band went their separate ways in 1984 but reunited for a performance at this year's Grammy Awards.

Other signature tunes include "Roxanne," "Don't Stand So Close to Me," "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic" and "Spirits in the Material World."
