Here's an all-points bulletin: The Police reunion tour is heading to Honolulu for a lone concert Feb. 16 at Blaisdell Arena.

The Police — Sting, Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers —were the top-selling ticket and had the top-grossing tour of 2007, according to Billboard magazine, which touted the group's success at its annual awards show last week in New York.

The group, now touring global markets stretching from Mexico to Argentina and journeying to New Zealand, Australia and Japan early next year, will include Honolulu as the final stop of a world tour that has included North America and Europe. At least 1.5 million fans worldwide have seen the act.

Fiction Plane will be the opening act.

The Police previously performed in Honolulu in 1984, when 31,653 jammed Aloha Stadium to see them.

The group also played Blaisdell Arena in 1981.
