Advertiser Staff
The 23rd annual Honolulu City Lights celebration is set for Dec. 1.
The event will begin with food booths and keiki rides at 4 p.m. near the Skygate sculpture, with the city hall tree-lighting ceremony kicking off at 6 p.m. The electric light parade starts shortly afterward at A'ala Park and proceeds down King Street to Honolulu Hale.
The night will wrap up with a holiday concert at Skygate.
The theme for the festivities this year is "Ku'u Home — Our Home," which is meant to highlight the special attributes of Honolulu.
Every year, Honolulu City Lights draws more than 75,000 people.
