ROBERTS HAWAII INC.
Roberts Hawaii Inc., a transportation and entertainment company, has hired Lori Yoshioka to be director of the Employee Stock Ownership Plan, the largest ESOP in the state of Hawai'i. Yoshioka will oversee the transition and management of the new plan.
Yoshioka was formerly administrative specialist for the Hawaii State Federal Credit Union and previously was human resources manager at Hawaiian Airlines.
ROYAL HAWAIIAN SHOPPING CENTER
Moea DeFries has been hired as the new assistant cultural director at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. DeFries' background and Hawaiian cultural expertise will support the mission of the center to promote the integrity of Hawaiian arts and cultural practices at the center.
CHILD & FAMILY SERVICE
DAVID MITCHELL is the new director of Child & Family Service's Hawai'i Employee Assistance Service Division. He comes to Hawai'i from Washington, where he was the founder and CEO of Inner Directions Counseling and Education Services. He is a licensed mental health counselor and certified mediator.
HAWAII SELF STORAGE
Hawaii Self Storage has announced that TONY GOULART is the new facilities manager for the locally owned self-storage chain. Goulart will analyze revenues and streamline expenses for all Hawaii Self Storage operating facilities, while monitoring monthly and annual budget goals. He will predict industry trends and localize them.
SHERATON KEAUHOU BAY RESORT & SPA
Arnold Arellano has been named executive chef at Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa on Hawai'i's Island. Joining Arellano will be Clement Kaimiolo, who has been named executive sous chef.
Also, Brad Doell has been promoted to director of sales and marketing at the resort, and John Dominguez has been promoted to director of group sales.
MEADOW GOLD DAIRIES
Meadow Gold Dairies of Hawaii has named Jill Chiang sales and distribution manager. Previously, Chiang worked at Pacific Health Inc. as director of operations.
SHRINERS HOSPITALS FOR CHILDREN
Shriners Hospitals for Children - Honolulu, the pediatric orthopedics facility on Punahou Street, has named Stan Berry as its administrator. Berry will oversee all aspects of the hospital's operations and spearhead the $73 million capital campaign to build a new hospital, targeted for completion in June 2010.
