The new Kokololio Bridge on Kamehameha Highway will open at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow but only one lane of traffic will flow at a time to allow crews to remove temporary concrete barriers and install pavement markings. Traffic will be contraflowed.

Construction of the $5.8 million project began in June 2006. The new bridge replaces one built in 1932 that no longer met state and federal highway standards.
