KID LOVE
Fundraisers don't have to mean a stuffy sit-down dinner in the Coral Ballroom. Help out kids at Kamaile Elementary School in Wai'anae by hanging out at NextDoor on Thursday. It's a benefit for Teach One, a program that collects school-supply donations, clothing and toys for a school. Tickets are just $5 if you bring a donation (such as a backpack, groovy folders); $10 if you're empty-handed. You get to listen to Tempo Valley, below, snack on pupu and feel good about yourself. 7 p.m.-midnight; 953-0002.
