Work on park's pool to resume

Work should begin again this week on the pool at Kapaolono Community Park, said Eugene Lee, director of the city's Department of Design and Construction.
Construction on the pool was halted earlier this year after workers discovered that the bottom and sides of the pool weren't flat and required additional work.
The entire project, which now will cost $822,000, is expected to be completed by the end of the year, Lee said.
The pool has been closed for renovations since August 2005.
It was originally slated to reopen in April 2006.
