The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists about several westbound lane closures between Hakimo Road and Kaukama Road on Farrington Highway between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. tomorrow through Friday.

The closures will be for drainage maintenance work, the department said.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area, and to allow for extra travel time. The work will be done weather permitting.

No daytime safety improvement work is scheduled for today, in observance of the Prince Jonah Kuhio Kalaniana'ole Day holiday, DOT officials said.
