"Black Donnellys," 9 p.m., NBC. Life keeps closing in on Tommy Donnelly, a decent young guy who's always trying to repair things. His brother Jimmy killed a bookie and is trying to take over his accounts. Short term, that means roughing up an old friend; long term, things could get much worse. Meanwhile, Jenny tries to figure out what happened to the money from her family's business. Tommy, who always has loved her, wants to fix that, too. It's a strong portrait, skillfully written and played.
