Advertiser Staff

Experience the beauty of the full moon at night in Waimea Valley as the Audubon Society hosts its first of six moon walks for the year from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. March 30.

The self-guided tour from the visitor center to the waterfall will introduce strollers to the sights and sounds of the night life at the park.

Participants can bring a picnic diner and are asked to have a flashlight, wear comfortable walking shoes and enjoy the sense of adventure on this 1 1/2-mile walk.

Ticket sales begin at 7:30 p.m. and the gate closes at 8 p.m.; $5 for adults, $3 for ages 4-12.
