Audubon offers camp for kids

Spring break in Waimea Valley Audubon Center promises adventure, education and fun as the Audubon Society offers Spring WET, a camp for children, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 26 to 30 at the North Shore botanical garden.

The program is geared toward children 5 to 10 years old and includes the fifth day free for students who sign up for four days. Cost is $40 a day, $30 a day for annual pass-holders.

Each day features a theme such as ancient traditions, water, food chain, the traveling seed and enthusiastic environmentalists.
