Are you the anti-Bridezilla, and you want to have low-impact nuptials? Your wedding can be more Earth-friendly by offsetting the greenhouse gas emissions of your traveling guests through DrivingGreen. The nonprofit's new Web site features a calculator that allows couples to estimate the carbon emissions that would result from the travel and lodging of their guests, then pay an equivalent amount to fund projects that reduce greenhouse gases. DrivingGreen provides the money to farmers who use it to convert animal waste into renewable energy. For example, the average two-day wedding for 250 people emits about 72,000 pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Those emissions can be offset for $260. Go to www.DrivingGreen.com for more information on how to party green.
