A 24-year-old man was fatally injured yesterday morning after a piece of heavy machinery rolled over him at a construction site in Ka-huku, said Bryan Cheplic, spokes-man for the city Emergency Services Department.

The man was reportedly pronounced dead at 10:33 a.m.

Emergency Services received a call at 10:02 a.m. from the Kahuku firing range, where workers reported that a machine used to move large rocks had rolled over the man.
