TONIGHT'S MUST-SEE

"The Price is Right," 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., CBS. Bob Barker gets the send-off he deserves. He hosted TV game shows for 51 years and "Price" for 35 of them. Now, at 83, he's retired. The final episode he taped will be shown twice today. Reruns will fill the daytime this summer, with the new host (not yet named) arriving in the fall.

"The 34th Annual Daytime Emmys," 8 p.m., CBS. There should be some interesting human moments. Will Barker win one final Emmy? He has 17, including a record 13 as host. Now he faces Alex Trebek, Pat Sajak and Meredith Vieira, plus Ben Bailey of "Cash Cab." Will Rosie O'Donnell win, then feud with her former "View" colleagues? They're nominated together, facing Ellen DeGeneres, Phil McGraw, Rachael Ray and Tyra Banks, plus Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway of "Soap Talk." And no, there's no Susan Lucci issue. Nominated for best actress are Kim Zimmer and Crystal Chappell of "Guiding Light," Jeanne Cooper and Michelle Stafford of "The Young and the Restless" and Maura West of "As the World Turns."

OF NOTE

"Man vs. Wild" season opener, 6 p.m., Discovery Channel. Each year, host Bear Grylls says, at least 60 tourists are rescued from the Everglades, which has a million alligators. So Grylls, a former British soldier, shows what to do: He gets plunked in to the middle of the 'Glades and spends days getting out. It's an involving and sometimes disturbing hour. Grylls even shows how to eat a raw frog, making sure he kills it with the first bite.

"Kyle XY," 7 p.m., ABC. If you missed this fairly good episode Monday on ABC Family, catch it now. It's a pivotal one, with Kyle learning about his background. In the final moments, we see a character who could become important.

Disney Channel Games opening ceremony, 8 p.m., Disney Channel. This channel is a master of inbred promotion. The games will be each Saturday, pitting the young stars of Disney shows, including Miley Cyrus of "Hannah Montana." The opening ceremony is a concert by Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Corbin Bleu. The closing ceremony (Aug. 25) will be a concert by Disney stars, including Miley Cyrus. We see a trend here.

"Standoff," 8 p.m., Fox. Matt and Emily are working separate crises. She's at a subway with two armed robbers; he's at a psychiatric office, where the doctors (a husband and wife) are held by a man whom Matt has previously talked down.

"Law & Order: Criminal Intent," 8 p.m., NBC. Doris Roberts plays a rich socialite whose granddaughter has been killed. The investigation brings out some messy secrets.

"Law & Order," 9 p.m., NBC. In this rerun, Chevy Chase plays a star who reveals his bigotry, Mel Gibson-style.
