The Hanauma Bay Marine Education Center will hold a series of free nighttime events through August.

The first will be at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 2 and features Jeff Mikulina, Sierra Club, Hawai'i Chapter director, who will talk about "Global Warming, Hawai'i and the New Global Warming Solutions Act," at the visitor center theater.

Parking is free at the bay after 5:30 p.m.

The second event is at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 9 featuring Patrick Ching, artist and owner of Naturally Hawaiian Arts called "Naturally Hawaiian — Inspired by Nature."
