Residents can expect another week of road construction on Lunalilo Home Road at the intersection of Hawai'i Kai Drive from Hawaii American Water Co.'s sewer-line work.

Metal plates have covered the trenches for many months while the company finished work on the pump station and removal of a valve, said Lee Mansfield, company manager. Work on the final leg on Lunalilo Home Road began July 12 and will continue through July 26.

Work on the next area will be on Hawai'i Kai Drive by Hancock Landing and 'Ainahou Street. That work is expected to begin in late August. For more information, call the hot line at 441-0146.
