Help needed for culture fest

Volunteers are needed for the Malama Punalu'u Culture and Music Festival planned for the Labor Day weekend in Ka'u.

This free, two-day event will feature Hawaiian music and hula and cultural practitioners at the Na'alehu Park & Ball Fields on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Volunteers are needed for preproduction, promotion, staging, security, information booth staff, recycling and other duties.
