Harbor issues to be discussed

Key players will talk about the future of Kalaeloa/Barbers Point Deep Draft Harbor and the city's plans for an intraisland ferry system during a panel discussion Thursday sponsored by the West Oahu Economic Development Association.

The luncheon will take place at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko Olina from 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $60 at the door.

State Transportation Director Barry Fukunaga, city transportation planning chief Toru Hamayasu, Kalaeloa Advisory Council chairman William Anonsen and James Banigan, general manager of Schnitzer Steel, are the panelists. For information, call 845-4994.
