Music, pigeons part of program

African music, fire prevention and colored pigeons are part of the Waialua Public Library Children's Summer Reading Program set for the next three Saturdays at 10 a.m. at the Waialua Bandstand.

Musician Reggae McGowen tomorrow will discuss the cultural importance of music and dance in West and Central Africa.

On July 14, members of the Hale'iwa Fire Station will talk about fire prevention and safety.

Doug Beter will bring his Rainbow Pigeons for a lecture and demonstration about his colorful racing birds on July 21.
