The Mililani Public Library will host "The Magic of Reading" with Uncle Wayne and Magic Mark at 6:30 p.m. July 18 as part of the Hawai'i State Public Library System Children's Summer Reading Program.

During the free 45-minute program, Uncle Wayne Watkins and Magic Mark Kroll will use magic, puppetry, comedy and audience participation to delve into topics such as reading, self-esteem and safety.

The program, sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai'i and the National Football League Charities, is suitable for children ages 5 and up. For more information, call the Mililani Public Library at 627-7470.
