As evening bags grow ever more diminutive, wouldn't it be great if date must-haves could follow suit? Maybe the keys and credit card can't shrink, but makeup wizard Paula Dorf has zapped her lipsticks into one-time-use lip wafers. Air Kiss is a little lipstick refresher — color on a square of plastic that you fold, squeeze between your lips like a blotter, then toss. For $25 you get a folder of 54 Air Kisses in nine shades. Available at Tint by Liz Dahl, inside CHOP Salon at Restaurant Row.

RETRO RECONSTRUCTIONS
The swinging '60s mod look is in the middle of yet another revival. This summer, if you're looking for a groovy retro dress, head to The Candy Shop for a Blue Geisha Vintage design. Cathy Reed constructs the one-of-a-kind pieces from vintage material. "I love taking something that's been discarded and making something beautiful from it, finding value in things that most people overlook," says Reed. "I guess it's like my personal mantra." Her designs range from sweet mini dresses to tops, wrap shorts and clutch purses, and go for $39-$119.
The Candy Shop: 831 Queen St., 589-1102.
