Makikimom, a mother of two, laments in the Sleep forum: Some might call me an insomniac, but I call it "mother's ear." While I'm laying comfortably asleep in my bed at night ... I hear EVERYTHING ... from the dog snoring to the geckos fighting on the window ledge. I hate to wear ear plugs in fear my children will call for me or, worse yet, start puking in their bed and I won't hear it. Any thoughts (suggestions) that don't include drugs?

The best thing about being a mom? "The rewards are endless. Every smile, every laugh."

The hardest? "Finding one-on-one time with each is tough. When they are sick and want only mommy, if more than one is sick, it is exhausting."

Advice you'd give to a new mom: "Advice is great, but not everything works for everyone. You have to find what works for you and your child, and every child is different. Oh, and the phases do pass. There's always a new one, but they do pass."
