Saint Louis beats Kamehameha to keep pace in ILH

Fourth-ranked Saint Louis is keeping it close in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu basketball race.
Scott Smith scored 16 points and the Crusaders used a big second half to beat host Kamehameha, 51-36, Tuesday night at Kekuhaupi'o Gym.
Saint Louis improved to 7-2 and remained one-half game behind No. 1 'Iolani and No. 2 Punahou, both 7-1. Kamehameha fell to 3-6.
Leading 22-20 at intermission, the Crusaders used a 14-8 third quarter for a 36-28 lead, then pulled away with a 15-8 fourth quarter.
Rykin Enos hit three 3-pointers and finished with 11 points to lead the Warriors.
