SAM CHOY COOKS UP COLUMN FOR PARENTS

Sam Choy isn't just about poke contests and Pizza Hut. Add columnist to his resume. The chef is now a contributor to MommyTalk.com, a sort of MySpace for moms (and dads). A parenting Web site? "We're partnering with people who are not only experts in their field but who are great family members," says Mommy Talk president Travis Moss, "and I don't think you could ask for a much better father than Sam." How does he know? The Phoenix resident's family owns a house on the Big Island, and he has known Choy, father of two and grandpa of one, for 15 years. Every Wednesday the site features a Choy recipe that helps time-strapped parents prepare (kind of) healthy meals. Today he shares his Oriental salad dressing.
