BOOK FOR BOOMERS
WHEN AGELESS YOUTH IS GOAL
As boomers go gray, a plaintive wail is heard: "What do I wear now?" If you're wondering if you can still get away with that denim mini, to the rescue is style consultant Sherrie Mathieson, 60. The former costume designer's new book, "Forever Cool: How to Achieve Ageless, Youthful and Modern Personal Style" (Phenix & Phenix, $22.95) offers photos of more than 200 fashion do's and don'ts for men and women. Using real grown-ups, she illustrates makeovers, offering remedies for boomer style crimes and prescribing nutrients for basic fashion health. Cool, says Mathieson, has no expiration date.
