Pitcher, infielder led Seariders to 5-3 record in Western Division
Wai'anae's Desirae Hanamaikai was named Player of the Year, and McKinley's Summer Nagareda was Coach of the Year after voting by O'ahu Interscholastic Association White Conference coaches.
Hanamaikai was a starting pitcher but also played second base and shortstop. She helped the Seariders to a 5-3 record and second-place finish in the OIA White Western Division.
Nagareda helped McKinley go 6-2 in the Eastern Division, good for second place.
East champ Kahuku led the way with four White Conference first-team all-stars: second baseman Mokelani Kaiahua, third baseman Tatiana Vaimoui, and outfielders Brittney Fesolai and Jasmine Taele.
The Red Raiders went 8-2.
