"Bruce Almighty" (2003), 7 p.m., Fox. Being God would be fun if everyone had nice requests, sort of like "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition." But what if they just keep nagging you for a winning lottery number? That's what happens to Bruce (Jim Carrey). God (Morgan Freeman, of course) has put him in charge. Now his e-mail inbox is flooded with prayers. The result is erratic but fun, with fine support from Jennifer Aniston and Steve Carell.

Football, noon and 3:30 p.m., ESPN. We get a bowl double-header. First is the Champs Sports Bowl; Boston College, leading the nation in run defense, faces Michigan State, which prides itself in balancing the run and the pass. Then the Emerald Bowl has Maryland and Oregon State.

"100 Years ... 100 Movies," 4 p.m., Bravo. This reruns the 10th annual edition, updating the 100-best-movies list. Morgan Freeman hosts, on the same night as his godly duties on Fox. And in a schedule change, the well-crafted "Cold Mountain" (2003) follows at 9 p.m.

"Men in Trees," 7 p.m., ABC. Two weeks ago, ABC made a late change, inserting a rerun in which Marin got lost in the woods. Tonight, it has a rerun in which ... well, Marin gets lost in the woods. Fortunately, she keeps getting found.

"Singing Bee," 7 p.m., NBC. In a new hour, people try to sing TV theme songs.

"Dateline," 8 p.m., NBC. This wraps up an all-new night for NBC, while the other big networks (excluding ABC's "20/20") have only reruns. There's a report on fake passports and ID. And, inevitably, there's the 12th round of "To Catch a Predator."

"Women's Murder Club," 8 p.m., ABC. This is the episode that paired Angie Harmon with her real-life husband, retired football star Jason Sehorn. He plays a pro football player whose friend was killed.

"Moonlight," 8 p.m., CBS. A man who's getting out of prison knows Mick's secrets.

"Numb3rs," 9 p.m., CBS. Power stations are being sabotaged around town. Don must figure out whether it's related to terrorism or a workers' strike. Meanwhile, Charlie tries to figure out what spot is next.
