Kerry Germain of Hale'iwa wrote about the one Christmas gift she longed for in "Christmas at Six," an original short story published in the new "A Chicken Soup for the Soul Christmas" by Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen. Germain's story was selected from thousands of others to be included in the book because of its heartwarming and inspiring qualities.
Like others in the "Chicken Soup" series, the latest book includes stories of hope and kindness, and how people found the true meaning of the season through unexpected miracles and those they met along the way.

FINAL WORD
"It's been a lifelong ambition to record right off the road — to get that raw, nasty sort of dazed, lethargic emotional release from the end of a tour on a record."
