BENEFIT HELPS FIGHT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Former Miss Hawaii USA Juliet Lighter's fundraiser, "A Night of Hope," will seek to raise awareness about the fight against domestic violence, 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the Honolulu Design Center's Cupola Theater. The event, which Lighter will emcee with her "Hawaii's Reel Stories" co-host Jason Suapaia, includes entertainment by Miss Hawaii 1998 Jennifer Hera Pimental, LT Smooth, Miss Hawaii 1999 Candes Meijide Gentry, Bruce Shimabukuro, Tempo Valley, Juke Joint and more. Tickets, $40, $20 for college students and $400 for a VIP table of six, include gift bags, pupu and bottle service by Las Vegas Vodka.
