GOODSILL ANDERSON QUINN & STIFEL

The law firm of Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel has announced that Alicia Huffman, Jonathan Shardlow, William Tanaka, Nicolas Kelsey, Claire Goldberg and Rebecca Dayhuff have joined the firm. Huffman was most recently a litigation associate at Shearman & Sterling in San Francisco. She concentrates her practice in litigation.

Shardlow most recently gained environmental litigation experience with Downey Brand in Sacramento, Calif. He joins Goodsill's environmental law group.

Tanaka comes to the firm after clerking for the Honorable Randall Lee at the First Circuit Court of Hawai'i. He practices in the area of litigation.

Kelsey's experience includes a judicial externship with chambers of Chief Judge Vaughn Walker at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. He focuses his practice in labor and employment.

Goldberg graduated cum laude from New York University and received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School. She joins the firm's litigation group.

Dayhuff earned a combined Master of Business Administration and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Hawai'i College of Business Administration and the University of Hawai'i William S. Richardson School of Law. She joins the firm's real estate group.

ALOHA AIRLINES

Aloha Airlines has promoted Devin Shishido and Eddy Ganir to regional director station operations. Shishido will be responsible for Honolulu, Lihu'e, Hilo and Kona airports. Ganir will handle operations at Maui, Oakland, Orange County, Sacramento, San Diego, Las Vegas and Reno airports. They will be charged with the tasks of maintaining Aloha's on-time performance record and level of service.

Also promoted was Mike Coffman to the position of senior vice president airline operations. He will be responsible for airport operations, cargo and contract services as well as maintenance and engineering. An experienced airline executive, Coffman has worked in virtually every aspect of the airline industry. He has served as an officer in four different passenger and cargo air transportation companies.

UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I

The University of Hawai'i recently announced the hiring of JEFFRIE JONES as director of development for the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She has more than 20 years of experience in marketing and brand management. Most recently, she led the fundraising efforts at Straub Clinic and Hospital. She will be responsible for identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of individuals, certain corporations and foundations for major gifts to the school. She also will lead campaigns and manage special projects for which major gifts are essential, funds which make possible improved facilities, endowed faculty positions, scholarships, research efforts and more.

HAWAII MEALS ON WHEELS

Hawaii Meals on Wheels recently announced the appointment of ANNA DERBY BLACKWELL to its board of directors. Blackwell is a freelance writer, editor and public relations counsel. She has served as account manager for AdCorp International; public relations/advertising coordinator for Chaney, Brooks & Company; managing editor with Trade Publishing Co., executive director of Moanalua Gardens Foundation and public relations director of the YWCA of O'ahu. Blackwell has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. She is a trustee of the Cooke Foundation.

JAMBA JUICE HAWAII

Tyler Bernabe of Jamba Pi'ilani Village on Maui, and Shentel Romias of Jamba Kailua Village on O'ahu were promoted from assistant general manager to general manager. As general managers, Bernabe and Romias are in charge of day-to-day operations including staff supervision, scheduling, training and customer service.

Bernabe joined Jamba Juice Hawaii in 2003 as a team member at Jamba Maui Marketplace. He graduated in 2004 from King Kekaulike High School.

Romias graduated from Pearl City High School in 1986 and joined Jamba 'Aiea in 2003 as a team member when the store first opened.
