Hui Nalu Canoe Club will hold a community cleanup and recycling drive to support the club's education and recreation programs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Maunalua Bay boat ramp.

Accepted items include: scrap metal, pipes, metal appliances, car parts, bicycles and lawn mowers, newspapers, HI-5¢ containers, tires, green waste, car batteries, household items and clothes, cellular phones, one computer per car and printer cartridges. No fluids, TVs, autos or gas tanks will be accepted.

This is the second community cleanup sponsored by the canoe club, which uses Maunalua Bay for practices.
