Hip Hop artist Afatia Thompson will be the featured performer at Kapolei Middle School's second annual Spring Fling, which runs from 4 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

Festivities get under way with a social dance for families in the cafeteria that will run from 4 to 5:30. Tickets for the dance are $5 presale and $8 at the door.

Outdoors, after the dance, there will also be a talent show, spelling bee, Kapolei Middle School Teacher Band performance and fire dancing by Niko Wendt. The movie "Akeelah and the Bee" will be shown at 7:10. There is no charge for the outdoor entertainment.

Food will be available for purchase on the site.
