Youths from Waipahu on Saturday joined teachers, community members and 'Olelo Community Television staff in painting the newest 'Olelo Community Media Center at Waipahu Intermediate School.

'Olelo community developer Sparky Rodrigues has been training Waipahu elementary, intermediate and high school students on video production. Now they and the community will have a permanent center to work out of.

The media center will be 'Olelo's seventh when it opens in June. It will offer classes for people of all ages in video production, including camera operation and video editing.
