PUKALANI
Class staging original musical

Advertiser Staff

The entire fifth-grade class at the Kamehameha Schools Maui campus will stage the original musical mystery "Bon Voyage" tonight and tomorrow.

The free performances will begin at 7 p.m. both nights in the elementary school's Namahana Dining Hall, 270 'A'apueo Parkway. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The musical was written by teacher Peter Winkler, who is known for staging ambitious student theater productions. He said "Bon Voyage" is set on a luxury ocean liner sailing between Maui and O'ahu. The young performers promise "lots of twists, turns and audience participation," he said.
